Leo Cesareo’s fresh, beautifully tailored interiors—fusions of interesting texture, sculptural silhouettes, and vibrant color schemes—are as visually appealing as they are warm and functional. “My philosophy is all about balance, composition, and the careful layering of diverse styles and historical influences,” says the accomplished designer, who has offices in both San Francisco and Los Angeles. After studying fine art at Rhode Island School of Design, Cesareo refined his penchant for atmospheric, art-heavy spaces while working in the offices of luminaries such as Steven Volpe and Jay Jeffers before launching his own practice in 2018. Since then, his firm’s ability to conjure striking yet unpretentious, of-the-moment environments has become its visual signature.
In keeping with Cesareo’s aesthetic, his industry esprit de corps and dedication to making design fun and inclusive are just as forward-looking. “We’re a young, highly collaborative team and love helping clients focus on what really matters,” says Cesareo, who expertly guides first-time and experienced homeowners alike in making the most out of their budgets.
