In 1993, Ed and Mary Ann Westbrook co-founded Quarryhouse. Their Marin County-based company includes two California stone shops in Richmond and Tahoe and an Italian atelier in Verona, allowing them to forge creative partnerships with general contractors, architects, and interior designers. Renowned landscape architect Lawrence Halprin was one of QuarryHouse's early collaborators. Today, joined by the second generation, Dillon and Cassie Westbrook, they continue the "Art of Legacy," translating the ancient craft of masonry into a modern vernacular.
